Change Is Good, Right?

I don’t know how many times I’ve jumped from Blogger to WordPress, but this is another foray into WordPress publishing.

The thing which drew me to WordPress this time was the simplicity in the mnmlist theme I found at Leo Baubata’s Website of the same name.  It’s clean and simple.  I like that.  It’s what I have wanted in my Web publishing.

I adapted the theme for a black background and added links in the sidebar so that I could separate my writing from my photography.  I don’t mind this site being about everything; I just don’t want it to throw it at you at once.  I also added comments.  I will not be adding widgets.  The only sidebar you’ll see is the one to your left.

I have tinkered with a Goggle AdSense plugin, but it wasn’t successful.  I’m not sure I want that anyway.   I have never made anything through clicking.  I do, however, think I will be adding Paypal donate or subscription buttons as the content allows.

Plus, I’m going to offer prints for sale.

And some of my writing.

But mostly, this is an exercise in simplicity.

Funny.  The Web has come this far and simple text on a simple background has come back around.  Surely somewhere, someone is creating a theme with a simple black background and a CRT-green Courier font.

Oh!  I sense a redesign.
