I am a gentleman writer, photographer, and independent scholar with a penchant for what is mysterious and amusing.

But mostly I’m a photographer.  I picked up my first digital camera about ten years ago and I’ve been hooked ever since.  I tend to shoot more landscape than I do anything else, but I am very interested in shooting portrait and event photography.

I have both a good eye and a unique vision.  I know how the photo should look and I know how to make ordinary photos look different.

Taking photographs is not the same thing as taking snapshots.  A snapshot captures a moment.  A photograph creates a moment.
