I processed this photo using the Lightroom 3 beta from Adobe. I changed it to greyscale and adjusted for contrast and clarity.

LR3 offers Flickr integration so I was able to upload directly to Flickr. i found this to be both a useful and hampering tool. It’s useful in that you can go from processing to storage without using additional software. It’s hampering in that you have to adjust the meta-data for the sort of titling I like to do on Flickr with public photos. The time on file work within LR3 equals if not exceeds my processing for Flickr without it.

Frankly, one of my favorite tools for this kind of work is FastStone’s Image Viewer. It’s a free program, and it does much of the same work as LR with a simpler interface.
